Funding Purpose: Provides immediate funds for emergency and capacity-building needs

Eligible Uses:

Time-sensitive, unpredictable emergency situations

Short-term, urgent funding from unforeseen events that significantly interrupt essential services to Virginia residents

Major shifts in clinic operations (e.g., adding dental services, implementing Medicaid billing)

Staffing restructuring due to unexpected loss of key team members

Award Amount: Up to $10,000 per request

Application Timeline: Open/rolling process - requests can be submitted at any time

Key Requirements:

Request must be time-sensitive in nature

Could not have been reasonably predicted or planned for

Supports short-term, urgent needs from unforeseen events

Significantly impacts ability to provide essential services to Virginia residents
