Dental Hygienist Scholarships

Scholarship Type: Endowed scholarships created at four Virginia institutions

Participating Institutions:

1. Old Dominion University
2. Northern Virginia Community College
3. Virginia Western Community College
4. Wytheville Community College

Eligible Students: Dental hygiene students enrolled at participating institutions

Program Goal:

• Support dental hygiene students
• Encourage graduates to remain and practice in Virginia
• Address dental workforce shortages in the commonwealth

How to Apply: Students should contact their respective educational institutions directly to inquire about scholarship application processes and deadlines, as scholarships are administered by each school.

How to Apply

Application Process:

1. Contact your educational institution - Old Dominion University, Northern Virginia Community College, Virginia Western Community College, or Wytheville Community College
2. Inquire about scholarship - Ask about the Delta Dental of Virginia Foundation Dental Hygiene Scholarship
3. Follow school procedures - Complete application as directed by your institution's financial aid office
4. Submit to institution - Applications are processed through the individual schools
