Elks Valerie Murphy Memorial Scholarship Grant

The Elks Valerie Murphy Memorial Scholarship, offered by the Sky Lakes Medical Center Foundation, supports full-time students in health or science-related fields, requiring a minimum GPA of 3.0. Priority is given to military service members, their families, and high school seniors in the Civil Air Patrol. Since its founding in 1985, the Foundation has relied on the generosity of hundreds of donors—from former patients to local businesses—to help maintain high-quality, patient-focused care for the region.
This scholarship supports students accepted and enrolled full-time in a health or science-related field with a minimum GPA of 3.0. First consideration is given to students currently serving in the military, followed by those with family members who have served or are serving, and finally to high school seniors participating in the Civil Air Patrol (CAP).
