  • Eligibility & Requirements:

  • Initiatives that cannot be supported through the regular district budget

  • Must align with at least one of six focus areas

  • Requires administrative review and approval at the building level prior to submission

  • Must confirm alignment with district goals, facility and technology guidelines, and readiness for implementation

  • Project coordination, implementation, and ongoing maintenance remain the responsibility of the school or department

  • AEF provides financial support only

  • To date, AEF has funded more than 142 innovative educational projects
  • Application Cycles:
    Two grant cycles per academic year:

  • Fall Application: Due by November 1

  • Spring Application: Due by March 1

  • (If the 1st falls on a weekend, the application is due by the Monday following)
