Eligibility

• Applicants: Area high school seniors from the hospital's service area
• Program Requirements: Must be enrolled in a course of study leading to a Certificate/Diploma or academic degree in a healthcare field
• Education Type: Must be enrolled in an accredited two- or four-year college or university, vocational/technical school, a school of nursing, or an institution accredited by an appropriate state licensing health career board
• Eligible Fields: Examples include Medical Lab Technology, Nursing, and Social Work

• Recognizes the need for high-quality rural healthcare and increasing demand for trained professionals
• Recipient notification: Early May 2026
• Award distribution: Check sent to recipient's school upon proof of enrollment
