How to Apply

Application Process

The application process is a two-step process:

1. Step 1: Letter of Inquiry (LOI)
- Submit a Letter of Inquiry to express interest in the grant
- Deadline: October 20, 2022 by 12:00 a.m. (Note: This deadline has passed; check website for current deadlines)
- United Way Education Impact Council volunteers will review all Letters of Inquiry
- Approved applicants will be invited to proceed to Step 2

2. Step 2: Full Application
- Approved LOI applicants will be invited to complete the full application process
- Timeline: Approved applicants invited in January 2023 to submit full applications

Required Information

Program design should demonstrate how it will improve 3rd grade reading in Pickens County
Include plans for parental engagement and involvement
Identify how the program will serve underrepresented and/or marginalized populations
Outline all program expenses, including staff salaries
