The Ed and Verma Pastor Legacy Scholarship (funded by an Arizona Public Service $250,000 pledge, administered through the AZHCC Emerging Business Leaders Initiative) supports Latino undergraduate students majoring in a STEM field OR Public Service/Public Policy at any Arizona public university or college. The AZHCC awards one or more Ed Pastor scholarships totaling $15,000 per year; the individual amount is determined after the awardee's financial-aid package is reviewed. Eligibility — Arizona resident, financial need (FAFSA/SAR), preference to first-generation Latino/Latina students; students may reapply each year; finalists interviewed. 2026 applications open until March 16, 2026 (PASSED); recurs annually.
