Overview

NOTE: Applications are due by the 3rd Monday of the month for review by the Grants Committee on the 1st Wednesday. Our Mission The Community Foundation of Grundy County seeks to provide vision for Grundy County in order to preserve and enhance our quality of life. The Foundation will do this by: providing leadership to identify important needs, concerns, and opportunities; using our grantmaking to respond to those needs and effect change; partnering with local not-for-profit organizations to strengthen their abilities to serve our citizens; and partnering with donors to receive and manage funds that will support the community for generations to come. Energy Efficiency Fund The Community Foundation of Grundy County supports nonprofits who serve Grundy County, plus the community as a whole, in a number of ways, including our Grants Program. Nonprofits and churches are invited to apply for grants from this new fund to help low income resident homes, church buildings, and nonprofit buildings become more energy efficient.
