Driving a Stronger Community Scholarship (MN) Grant

The Driving a Stronger Community Scholarship, funded by The Walser Foundation, supports high school seniors across Minnesota who showcase exemplary volunteerism and civic engagement. This scholarship awards $1,000 to one outstanding student from each participating high school, helping them pursue post-secondary education. Eligible applicants must complete over 30 hours of volunteer service and maintain a GPA of 2.75 or higher. This initiative aims to foster community involvement and empower future leaders.

The Walser Foundation, funded by the Walser Automotive Group, proudly supports high school seniors who demonstrate outstanding volunteerism, social responsibility, and civic engagement. Through the Driving a Stronger Community scholarship, one exceptional student from each participating high school will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship to assist with post-secondary education.
Participating high schools are chosen based on the communities Walser serves.

Eligibility

Be a high school senior
Complete 30+ hours of volunteer service during their senior year (Volunteer hours must be extracurricular and cannot fulfill school or organizational requirements.)
Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher (on a 4.0 scale)

Ineligibility

Family members of employees and directors of Walser Automotive Group or any Walser affiliate businesses are not eligible.
