Dr. Jean L. Harris Scholarships

Overview: The Eden Prairie Community Foundation awards annual renewable scholarships named in honor of Dr. Jean Harris, former mayor of Eden Prairie (1996-2001). The scholarship program was expanded in 2022 thanks to a generous bequest from Basil and Mary Jane Wissner.

Number of Awards: Four renewable scholarships available

Eligible Applicants:

  • Eden Prairie residents graduating in 2027

  • Planning to attend either 2-year or 4-year institutions
  • Geographic Scope: Eden Prairie, Minnesota

    Note: The 2026 scholarship application deadline for 4-year applicants has passed. Applications are currently available only for 2-year scholarships.
