Background: Established in 1998 by Dr. Alan Wentworth and his wife Ruth in gratitude for cardiac care received from Bellin Health. This was The Bellin Health Foundation's first endowed scholarship. After Ruth's passing in 2009, Dr. Wentworth continued to invest in and grow the fund. Today, Dr. Wentworth and his wife Nancy continue to support the fund and other community organizations.
