Overview: This scholarship program honors Wright-Patt Credit Union's former President and CEO Douglas A. Fecher and supports his commitment to academic excellence and opportunity in higher education for students in need within communities served by WPCU.

- Membership: Must be a Wright-Patt Credit Union member at time of application submission
- Academic Status: At application submission, must be either (i) a second-semester high school senior expected to graduate at end of semester, OR (ii) currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at Wright State University or University of Cincinnati
- Leadership & Community Commitment: Must demonstrate commitment to helping others and leadership potential, including participation in extracurricular activities, community service, or volunteer activities. Consideration given to students with limited ability to participate due to socio-economic circumstances
- Financial Need: Must demonstrate financial need (do NOT submit social security numbers, bank statements, tax returns, paycheck copies, or other sensitive financial documents)
- Academic Achievement: Minimum 2.5 GPA or equivalent
- Letters of Recommendation: Must submit two letters of recommendation from adults in applicant's community
- Proof of Enrollment: Prior to receipt of funds, must provide proof of (i) enrollment as undergraduate at Wright State University or University of Cincinnati for upcoming semester, OR (ii) acceptance into undergraduate program at one of these institutions for upcoming semester

2. Submit Complete Application: Submit via the scholarship application portal with all supporting documentation
3. Required Materials:
- Completed application form
- Two letters of recommendation from adults in your community
- Evidence of financial need (do not include SSN, bank statements, tax returns, paycheck copies, or other sensitive financial documents)
- Academic transcripts demonstrating minimum 2.5 GPA
- For high school seniors: Proof of expected graduation at end of semester
- For current undergraduates: Proof of current full-time enrollment
4. Upon Selection: Provide proof of enrollment or acceptance for upcoming semester at Wright State University or University of Cincinnati before receiving funds
