DJGA Golfer of the Year Award

Overview: The Dakota Junior Golf Association awards the "DJGA Golfer of the Year Award" (also known as Mr Golf and Ms Golf) to recognize the top High School Senior golfers in North Dakota, regardless of Class A or B classification.

Geographic Scope: North Dakota

Award Categories:

Top Male High School Golfer

Top Female High School Golfer

Award Schedule:

Girls Award: Given at the end of the fall season (beginning fall season)

Boys Award: Given at the end of the spring season (beginning spring season)

First Award: Spring 2026

Eligibility Criteria

• Must be a High School Senior
• Must be nominated by a High School Coach
• Playing Career: Must have resume of both High School and all amateur events
• Personal Resume: Must include other school activities, community service, and other accomplishments
• School Violations: Player may not have committed any school violations that resulted in suspension from any school activity while in grades 9-12

Selection Process

• Award will be voted on by a committee from across the state
• Nominations required from High School Coaches

The DJGA was founded in 1988 and currently provides over 20 summer events for golfers and lessons to over 1,000 junior players each year.
