Diversity Scholarship

Funder: Ramsey County Bar Foundation and Minnesota State Bar Foundation (joint program)

Award Timing: Spring 2026

Geographic Scope: Minnesota (law school students)

Purpose: Provide fair and equitable scholarship opportunities to local law students who contribute meaningfully to diversity in their community

    Focus Areas

  • Supporting law students who contribute meaningfully to diversity in their community
  • Students with volunteer or paid work experience in legal services for low-income Minnesotans
  • Students with interest in providing legal services to low-income Minnesotans

    Eligibility

  • Current Minnesota law school student (must be enrolled)
  • Any student may apply, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, or disability
  • Selection criteria based on:
  • - Resume (record of academic and professional achievement, leadership qualities through past work experience, community involvement and student activities) - Responses to prompts focused on career growth and commitment to diversity
