Overview: Youth contest where students research and gain knowledge on the social ramifications of diabetes. This is one of three main contests sponsored by Texas Lions' Opportunity for Youth program.

Application Process
1. Contact your local Lions Club to inform them of your participation
2. Complete required forms:
- Common Contest Application Form
- Code of Conduct Agreement
- Medical Power of Attorney Form
3. Submit by deadline: Monday, April 20, 2026 (postmark deadline)
4. Chaperone Guidelines: If providing a chaperone, fill out Chaperone Guidelines form
5. Winning contestants at state level will need to resubmit all required forms
