DDTSS Postdoctoral Abstract Competition—Annual Meeting Grant

The DDTSS Postdoctoral Abstract Competition, organized by the Society of Toxicology, invites postdoctoral researchers to present their accepted abstracts at the Annual Meeting. Open to applicants who have completed a PhD, the competition encourages submissions that highlight significant contributions to drug discovery toxicology. Awards of $1,000, $400, and $150 will be granted to the top three submissions. Membership in the Society is encouraged but not mandatory, fostering an inclusive environment for all participants.

Applicants must have completed a PhD and have an abstract accepted by SOT for presentation at the Annual Meeting. Applicants should submit their SOT annual meeting abstract as well as a cover letter to provide additional context and explain the importance of the work in relation to drug discovery toxicology. To participate in the DDTSS Postdoctoral Award abstract competition, membership in SOT and/or DDTSS is encouraged but not necessary.
First ($1,000), second ($400) and third ($150) place prizes will be presented at the Annual Meeting. This award is made possible by the Emil Pfitzer Drug Discovery Toxicology Endowment Fund.
