CT Grown for CT Kids A statewide grant program to help establish and further Farm-to-School programs through CT schools. Passed in the 2021 legislative session, the CT Grown for CT Kids Grant is a statewide grant program to help establish and further farm-to-school initiatives. The maximum grant award will be $50,000 for a project of up to 24 months in duration. Connecticut Grown for Connecticut Kids Grant The CTG4CTK Grant shall, assist schools, school districts, childcare centers and homes, and organizations to develop farm-to-school programs that will increase the availability of local foods inchild nutrition programs, allow educators to use hands-on educational techniques to teach studentsabout nutrition and farm-to-school connections, sustain relationships with local farmers andproducers, enrich the educational experience of students, improve the health of children in the stateand enhance the state's economy.
