The Creating Queer Community (CQC) Grant supports innovative artistic projects that build LGBTQ community through the arts. Approximately 20 grants are awarded annually.

Award Amount: $500 - $1,500 per grant

Focus Areas:

Projects in any artistic medium

Community-building through the arts

LGBTQ artistic expression and cultural development

Eligible Project Types:

Projects presented as part of the National Queer Arts Festival (NQAF)

Projects presented as part of QCC's Healthy Communities program

Artist commissions and performances

Eligibility:

LGBTQ artists and arts organizations

Projects that serve the San Francisco Bay Area LGBTQ community

3. Project's potential impact on LGBTQ community
4. Applicant's capacity to complete the project
