Since 2020, the Bob Woodruff Foundation and Craig Newmark Philanthropies have partnered to support hundreds of veteran and military family organizations, resulting in positive impact to more than 1.6 million veterans, service members, spouses and military children. Grant Criteria We provide funding for programs that serve the military and veteran community. We focus on programs that improve the health and well-being of service members, veterans, their families, and caregivers, and that: Improve social determinants of healthDecrease barriers to physical and mental healthcareIncrease access to programming that fosters a healthy lifestyleEnhance opportunities for veterans to thrive after serviceEligibility

Craig Newmark Philanthropies supports public charities in good standing described under Sections 501(c)(3) and 509(a)(1) or (2) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.Your organization and program must:Provide direct services to the military and veteran population Be administered through a non-profit organization Demonstrate financial responsibility and sustainability and have filed an IRS Form 990EZ or 990 for the past two fiscal years Provide an audited financial statement or a certified financial statement (to include a balance sheet and an income statement) Have two years’ worth of gross receipts greater than $50,000Ineligibility
