Overview

Cox Charities Fund

Overview: The Cox Charities "give where you live" program empowers Cox employees to support local schools and nonprofits in their communities. Every dollar donated to the program remains local and impacts individuals in Cox residential service areas.

Grant Types:

  • Community Investment Grants: Up to $5,000 per program supporting nonprofit programs and services in youth, education, social issues and the arts

  • Education Grants: Up to $2,500 open to pre-K-12 public and private schools within Cox Communications residential service areas
  • Administrator: This competitive program is sponsored by the Baton Rouge Area Foundation, but applications are accepted through the Cox Charities application portal.

    Application Deadlines:

  • Grants for Nonprofits: April 1 – May 1

  • Grants for Educators: September 1 – October 1

    Applications are submitted through the Cox Charities application portal (not through BRAF's system).
