ConnectHER Fellowship

The ConnectHER Fellowship invites past ConnectHER filmmakers to become mentors and changemakers in their own communities.

What Fellows Receive:

• Training and mentorship
• Stipend (amount not specified)
• Ongoing support
• Leadership opportunity to conduct filmmaking and storytelling workshops

Program Focus: Fellows lead at least four (some materials indicate five mandatory) filmmaking and storytelling workshops teaching peers and youth how to use film as a tool for social change. Through this peer-to-peer model, Fellows build creative confidence, strengthen local networks, and amplify new voices that might otherwise go unheard.

Geographic Scope: Global

Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be a past ConnectHER Film Festival (CHFF) filmmaker/applicant
• Must have reliable internet access
• Must be available for virtual training sessions
• Must be able to submit all required documentation
• Must commit to teaching 5 mandatory workshops (12 hours total)
• Must ensure 70% of workshop attendees are female
• Experience teaching or mentoring others is preferred but not required
• Preference for applicants with access to equipment or space
