Community Relief Fund

Purpose: Supports emergency services and mutual aid efforts in the Greensboro area with the goal of helping the community at times of extraordinary need due to unprecedented events.

Background

The Community Relief Fund is one of four distinct funds within the Fund for Greensboro. It was initially created in 2019 to support pandemic-related needs of front-line organizations, raising $65K over two years. In July 2023, the Board reopened the fund, raising just over $90,000 in flood relief donations, which was reinvested in the community for flood relief.
