Community Partner Program

Organization: SF Lesbian Gay Bi Trans Pride

Geographic Scope: San Francisco (LGBTQ+ nonprofit organizations)

Overview: SF Pride's Community Partner Program invites 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations to support the 56th Annual SF Pride Parade and Celebration (June 27-28, 2026) through volunteer engagement. Community Partners are assigned various roles throughout the celebration, from grandstand operations to information booths. The program prioritizes organizations with strong volunteer teams who can commit to both days of the event.

    Eligibility

  • Tax Status: Must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization
  • Volunteer Commitment: Organizations must commit to staffing volunteer roles across the two-day celebration
  • LGBTQ+ Service: Organization must demonstrate service to the LGBTQ+ community
  • Capacity: Positions assigned based on capacity, volunteer commitment, and organizational fit
  • Training: Selected partners must commit to attending required training sessions

    Work Area Roles Available

  • Grandstands & Viewing Areas - Staff premium viewing areas and grandstands
  • Accessibility Services - Support accessibility areas and services
  • Beverage Sales Booths - Operate beverage sales throughout the celebration
  • Donation Gates - Welcome attendees and collect donations at entry points
  • Backstage Operations - Support backstage party and performer areas
  • Information Booths - Staff information and assistance booths
  • Merchandise Sales - Operate official Pride merchandise booths
  • General Support - Flexible staffing as needed across various areas

    Volunteer Commitment Requirements

  • Organizations select from ranges: 5-10, 11-20, 21-30, 31-50, or 50+ volunteers
  • Two-Day Commitment Preferred: Organizations are strongly encouraged to commit both Saturday & Sunday (June 27-28, 2026)
  • One-Day Option: Available if full two-day commitment is not possible
  • Hours per Volunteer: Select from 2-4 hours, 4-6 hours, 6-8 hours (full day), or 8+ hours
