Geographic Scope: 26 northernmost counties of the Texas Panhandle

Mission: To reduce the burden of cancer and promote and serve the healthcare needs of residents living in Amarillo and surrounding communities.

  • How to Apply

    Application Process

    1. Review Eligibility, Guidelines and Deadlines
    - Review full guidelines for community organizations
    - Ensure organization meets all eligibility requirements

    2. Create an Account
    - Select one login email address/password for all submissions
    - Provide email address of person ultimately responsible for grant administration
    - HCHF will communicate all pertinent information to this email

    3. Complete the Online Grant Application
    - Follow all instructions on the application
    - If experiencing technical difficulties downloading or uploading documents, call the office for instructions
    - Note: Incomplete applications on due date may not be considered

    4. HCHF Review
    - Grant application reviewed by HCHF Grant Committee
    - Committee recommendations reviewed by Foundation board of directors

    5. Final Decisions
    - Notification by phone or email of funding decision
    - Decisions may take up to three weeks following a board meeting
    - Check grant schedule under guidelines for board meeting dates
