Geographic Scope: Local communities where Delta Dental operates (15-state enterprise and Washington, D.C.)

Office Locations with Community Councils:

• Alpharetta, GA
• Mechanicsburg, PA
• Rancho Cordova, CA
• Bay Area, CA

The Community Care Foundation provides smaller grants focused on local communities where Delta Dental operates. Community councils aligned to office locations award grants each year to causes in their communities.

Focus Areas:

• Local community needs
• Causes championed by Delta Dental employees
• Community support and investment

Eligibility:

• Local nonprofit organizations
• Community causes
• Organizations serving local communities
• Note: Grant support is by invitation only

Additional Employee Engagement:

• Employees receive 16 hours of paid time off annually for volunteering
• Employees receive $1,000 in matching funds for charitable donations annually
• Employees can nominate causes for grants

Application Process

Important Note: Grant support is by invitation only.

Steps:

1. If your organization feels it is a good fit for the Delta Dental Community Care Foundation, reach out to foundation@delta.org
2. Foundation will evaluate alignment with focus areas and mission
3. If invited, submit required application materials (specific materials not detailed in public documentation)

Employee Nomination Path:

• Delta Dental employees can nominate causes/organizations
• Employees should work with local community councils
