Geographic Scope: Local communities where Delta Dental operates, with office locations in Alpharetta (GA), Mechanicsburg (PA), Rancho Cordova (CA), and Bay Area (CA)

Eligibility:

• Nonprofit organizations
• Community causes
• Organizations aligned with employee nominations and community council priorities

Award Details:

• Smaller grants focused on local communities
• Community councils award grants annually
• Four community councils operate in key office locations

Background:
Delta Dental Community Care Foundation invests in communities through smaller grants that focus on local communities where the company operates. The Foundation also encourages employee engagement in the form of giving or volunteering within their local communities. Since 2012, the Foundation has granted more than $170 million.

Employee Involvement:
Delta Dental employees receive:

• 16 hours of paid time off annually for charitable work
• $1,000 in matching funds for charitable donations each year
• Ability to nominate causes for grants from the Delta Dental Community Care Foundation

Application Process

Community Council Nominations:
Employee nomination process for community causes. Employees can nominate causes to receive grants from the Delta Dental Community Care Foundation.

Four Community Councils:

• Alpharetta, GA
• Mechanicsburg, PA
• Rancho Cordova, CA
• Bay Area, CA

Each council awards grants annually to causes in their communities that are championed by employees.
