Geographic Scope: Local communities where Delta Dental operates (15-state and Washington, D.C. enterprise: AL, CA, DE, DC, FL, GA, LA, MD, MS, MT, NV, NY, PA, TX, UT, WV)

Focus Areas:

• Support local community needs
• Encourage employee engagement in charitable giving and volunteering
• Support causes championed by employees

Grant Structure:

• Smaller grants focused on local communities where Delta Dental operates
• Employee councils award grants annually to causes in their communities

Employee Participation:

• Employees receive 16 hours of paid time off annually for charitable work
• Employees receive $1,000 in matching funds for charitable donations each year
• Employees can nominate causes to receive grants from the Delta Dental Community Care Foundation

• Alpharetta, GA
• Mechanicsburg, PA
• Rancho Cordova, CA
• Bay Area, CA
• Each council awards grants annually to causes in their communities

Application Process

For Employee Nominations:

• Employees can nominate causes to receive grants from the Delta Dental Community Care Foundation
• Nomination process coordinated through one of four community councils

• Show connection to one of the four community council locations or involvement with Delta Dental employees
