Overview
The United Black Fund of Greater Cleveland's 2026 Community Investment Awards put $50,000 into nonprofit organizations serving Cuyahoga County. Rather than a traditional grant cycle, UBF is making six awards, two in each of three categories: Emerging Organization, Community Impact, and Innovative Program. The amount of each award is not published.
Organizations may apply directly or be nominated; a nomination does not replace the application. Applications and nominations close October 16, 2026.

Nonprofit organizations serving residents of Cuyahoga County. IRS 501(c)(3) status is not required, but the organization must be registered as a nonprofit in Ohio. Each organization may submit one application in one category.
