Norton Healthcare Norton Healthcare is a leader in serving adult and pediatric patients from throughout Greater Louisville, Southern Indiana, the commonwealth of Kentucky and beyond. The not-for-profit hospital and health care system has six Louisville-based hospitals and three hospitals in Southern Indiana. Mission Norton Healthcare’s purpose is to provide quality health care to all those we serve, in a manner that responds to the needs of our communities and honors our faith heritage. Community Initiatives Funding Norton Healthcare is a not-for-profit, charitable, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) private corporation. Our mission is to provide quality health care services based on community need and consistent with our faith-based heritage. To further our mission and maintain our not-for-profit status, we invest resources in other not-for-profit, 501(c)(3) organizations in our community through the Norton Healthcare Community Initiatives budget. These organizations must meet one or more specific criteria relative to community benefit and outreach. The Norton Healthcare Community Initiatives committee meets monthly, and current applications are reviewed at that time. Any requests for sponsorships of special events must be submitted at least 60 days prior to the event.Eligibility
