Overview
United Way of Lake and Sumter Counties invests in local non-profit organizations whose services align with their three impact areas. The organization provides funds to more than 20 nonprofit organizations and facilitates in-house programs.

- Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Florida - After-school and summer programming with focus on academics, mentoring, character & leadership, education & career development, health & life skills, arts, sports & fitness
- Building Blocks Ministries - Mental health services for adults with developmental disabilities through counseling and evidence-based interventions
- CareerSource Central Florida - Career readiness for disconnected youth ages 16-24 not in school or working; served 1,500 youth in past year
- Early Learning Coalition of Lake County - Subsidized childcare assistance for low-income and at-risk families
- Find, Feed & Restore - Housing assistance for homeless families with children; mental health counseling, employment guidance, financial education
- Girl Scouts of West Central Florida - New Girl Scout troop serving high-need areas of Sumter County with leadership development
- Habitat for Humanity of Lake-Sumter - Youth Construction Academy for high school students; affordable housing and life skills training
- LifeStream Behavioral Center, Inc. - Children's Clinical Outpatient Services (CCOS) providing mental health counseling to 1,600+ children and families
- LovExtension, Inc - Services for low-income, homebound, homeless seniors and disabled adults
- The Neighborhood Center of South Lake - Family stability center with food assistance and support programs for 5,300+ families
