Overview: Soroptimist International of Anacortes accepts grant applications from non-profit organizations and charitable organizations that benefit women and girls. After paying expenses, all proceeds from the Thrift Shop are donated to non-profit charitable organizations.

Eligibility:

Must be an IRS 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization; OR

Washington State nonprofit agency; OR

Public agency; OR

Unit of government; OR

Group seeking/receiving funding under the umbrella of a 501(c)(3) foundation

NOTE: SIAnacortes does not provide funding to individuals (except for student scholarships and awards)

All Anacortes School District grant requests must be submitted by the district or through the Anacortes Schools Foundation (not by individuals within the district)

What is Funded:

Programs and non-profit organizations benefiting women and girls

Charitable organizations serving the community

Major Projects: programs or projects requiring more than $5,000 which will have a long-term impact on the lives of women and girls in the local community or internationally
