Geographic Scope: Chemung and Southeastern Steuben counties

Award Range:

• Program Grant: $2,000 - $20,000
• General Operating: $20,000 - $40,000

Focus Areas: Arts, culture, education, youth, environment, animals, human services, and capacity building

Funding Priorities:

• Advance equity – Programs designed to foster access for community connections with diverse cultures, philosophies, and experiences in program delivery, leadership, mission, boards, and operations
• Community Impact – Organizations whose work is guided by clear goals for growth of individuals and communities
• Collaborate with community – Authentic community relationships
• Innovation and creativity – Supporting promising solutions with potentially unpredictable results
• Sustainability – Proposals that strengthen organizational capacity and expertise to serve underserved populations

Eligibility: Nonprofits that reside in and serve residents of Chemung and Southeastern Steuben counties

Application Process

Applications are accepted annually through the Community Foundation's online grant portal.
