Program Description: The Whitefish Community Foundation's Community Grant Program provides funding to local nonprofits. The program was revised to be administered on a quarterly basis to allow more opportunity for nonprofits to apply for funding. The quarterly cycle works in conjunction with the Great Fish Community Challenge.
Background: Since the Foundation was established in 2000, the Whitefish Community Foundation has awarded over $1.6 million from the Community Grants Program to local nonprofits. The program was previously the major granting program of the Foundation.
