About the Fund The Community Foundation for Livingston County, an affiliate of the Community Foundation for Southeast Michigan, is a permanent community endowment that was established in 1991 to enhance the quality of life in Livingston County. The Community Foundation for Livingston County continues to grow as a result of the generous contributions of many individuals and businesses in Livingston County. The Foundation is advised by a group of civic leaders who live or work in Livingston County and care deeply about the community. Partnerships for Success One of our goals, as a community foundation, is to bring people together in our local area and form partnerships that will benefit Livingston County. We partner with various charitable and dynamic organizations whose programs are built to improve lives in our community, and we aid in their mission through endowments from generous donors. If your organization or program has a vision for improving the well-being of those in Livingston County but could use some extra help, consider partnering with us at the Community Foundation.Eligibility

The Foundation will make grants to 501(c)(3) organizations, government entities, school districts and universities that provide programs that serve Livingston County.If an organization is not based in Livingston County, it must demonstrate connections to the local community.Organizations must have an independent certified financial audit.Ineligibility
Normally, grants are not made for projects or travel outside of Livingston County.We do not make grants to individuals, sectarian religious programs, or to cover deficits or other previously incurred obligations.Low priority is given to requests for ongoing operational costs, capital projects or campaigns, annual fund drives, conferences or other one-time events.Focus Areas & Funding Uses
