Community Engagement and Restoration Mini Grant Program

The Community Engagement and Restoration Mini Grant Program, managed by the Chesapeake Bay Trust, supports activities that enhance communities and improve natural resources. Eligible applicants include nonprofit organizations and community associations. This program accepts applications annually from June to June, promoting projects like tree plantings and stream cleanups. While matching funds are encouraged, they are not mandatory. Applicants must have received three or fewer grants from the Trust in the past.

NOTE: This program runs annually; we begin accepting applications at the start of June every year.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis (all year) until funds for the year (starting July 1 and ending June 30) are exhausted. Applications must be submitted at least eight weeks prior to the proposed start date.
