Lake Country Power awards scholarships to students at community and technical colleges within its service territory. One scholarship is awarded annually at each eligible institution.

Geographic Scope: Northern Minnesota; serves the following colleges within LCP service territory:

Itasca Community College, Grand Rapids, MN
Mesabi Range Community and Technical College, Virginia, MN
Hibbing Community College, Hibbing, MN
Fond Du Lac Tribal and Community College, Cloquet, MN
Vermilion Community College, Ely, MN

Eligibility:

Must be a student at one of the five eligible community colleges
Parent or legal guardian must be a Lake Country Power member (implied from other scholarship programs)

Special Program - Lineworker Scholarships:
Lake Country Power also offers lineworker scholarships for specialized Electrical Lineworker A.A.S. degree programs at:

Dakota County Area Technical Institute, Rosemount, MN
Minnesota West Community & Technical College, Jackson, MN
Minnesota State Community and Technical College, Wadena, MN
