The Columbus Foundation The The Columbus Foundation is one of the nation’s oldest and largest community foundations, dedicated to strengthening and enriching the quality of life in the Columbus, Ohio region. Serving as a trusted philanthropic partner, the Foundation connects donors, nonprofits, and community leaders to address critical community needs and create lasting impact. Through the stewardship of thousands of charitable funds, strategic grantmaking, and community leadership initiatives, The Columbus Foundation supports a wide range of priorities—including education, health and human services, arts and culture, neighborhood revitalization, and equity—while helping donors transform their charitable goals into meaningful, long-term change for present and future generations. Columbus Roast Association Fund The Columbus Roast Association Fund was established to continue the long-standing philanthropic legacy of the Columbus Roast Association, which originated in the 1970s to support former Ohio State University athletes and their families in times of need. Through annual comedy roast events, the Association raised significant funds to provide financial assistance within the community. In 2017, this generosity was transitioned into a scholarship program that supports high school seniors from Franklin and Madison counties with demonstrated financial need as they pursue a college degree, extending the Association’s mission of service and community support to the next generation.Eligibility
