Columbus Foundation: Arts & Culture Fund Grant

The Columbus Foundation's Arts & Culture Fund Grant supports organizations in Franklin County focused on the creation and presentation of performing, visual, and fine arts. The current funding cycle is closed, with new applicants eligible to apply starting in 2026. Organizations must have 501(c)(3) status and provide annual audits. Ineligible entities include schools and arts education organizations.

NOTE: This cycle is currently closed. The 2025 deadline above is an update for current grantees only. The next three-year cycle open to new applicants will begin in 2026.
Arts and culture grants support high-performing arts organizations that meet community needs and expand arts and cultural programming in Franklin County.
Arts and Culture grantmaking supports organizations with the primary mission and programmatic focus on the creation and presentation of performing, visual, and fine arts in Franklin County. An initial award in the three-year cycle will be announced in 2026 for the grant period from July 2026 to June 2027. Annually, these grantees will be asked to submit brief updates before receiving possible payments for 2027 and 2028. Any arts organizations meeting the eligibility requirements below is eligible to apply for funding in 2026.

Eligibility

Organization’s with a primary impact in Franklin County will be considered.
Organization’s with 501(c)(3) public charity status from the Internal Revenue Service can be funded. Primary focus on creation and presentation of performing, visual, and fine arts.

Ineligibility

Schools, colleges, universities, and organizations focused on arts education are not eligible.Fiscal sponsors are not permitted.
