Collective Impact Grant

Purpose: To address community's economic mobility challenges by allocating grants to agencies that align with Community Game Plan objectives, focusing on education, health, and financial stability.

Focus Areas: Programs addressing poverty and creating pathways out of poverty, with emphasis on:

  • Background: Hall County has a population of approximately 200,000, with 50.2% financially burdened (earning $78,000 or less as a family of four). United Way uses a collective impact approach with five conditions: common agenda, shared measurement systems, mutually reinforcing activities, continuous communication, and backbone support organization.

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations

  • Organizations that serve Hall County residents

  • Grant materials must be submitted by due date

  • Ability to comply with Financial Certification requirements

  • Active participation in grant training held by UWHC is mandatory - all applicants who have not attended grant training will NOT be eligible to apply
  • Review Process: Applications reviewed by volunteer Collective Impact Grant Panel including evaluation of application and financial certification materials. Site tours may be requested.
