• Operational History: In operation for at least 6 months
• Good Standing: In good standing with Colorado Secretary of State
• Accreditation: Accredited Charity with Better Business Bureau OR willing to become accredited
• Collective Impact Participation: Willing to actively participate as a Collective Impact partner
• Local Presence: Demonstrate local presence within Weld County
• Capacity: Demonstrate sufficient organizational capacity to provide proposed services to Weld County residents
• Non-Discrimination: Provide services without regard to race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, age, ancestry, marital status, disability, or other protected class

What Collective Impact Means

A framework based on the understanding that no single organization can tackle community challenges alone. Requires longstanding commitment and deep investment from multiple stakeholders working toward common goals, driving lasting community-wide change.

Review Process

Applications undergo thorough, community-centered review by a panel of volunteer reviewers composed of nonprofit leaders, educators, public sector professionals, and United Way staff. Panel assesses proposals for alignment with UWWC mission, effectiveness, and potential for measurable impact.
