Overview

NOTE: If your project has not been previously funded by Colcom Foundation, please submit a Letter of Inquiry. Letters of Inquiry are accepted on a rolling basis. Our History Colcom Foundation is rooted in a philanthropic tradition that supports important causes whether or not they are embraced by popular culture. For example, the Foundation’s benefactor was among the most generous supporters of women’s reproductive freedoms long before the majority of Americans supported these rights. Colcom continues this legacy by promoting a public dialogue on ecologically sustainable immigration policy. Additionally, the Foundation supports physician aid-in-dying and individual autonomy at the end of life. The Foundation’s work in southwest Pennsylvania reflects its deep roots in the region; efforts focus on remediating environmental damage from a history of heavy industry and supporting the region’s rich cultural heritage.
