Coast Central Credit Union Grant

The Coast Central Credit Union Grant supports local non-profit organizations in Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties. Grants range from $3,000 to $25,000, with a total of $150,000 available each funding round. Eligible organizations must have 501(c)(3) status or be public benefit entities. Priority is given to projects that demonstrate a positive impact on the community and are already in progress, fostering collaboration and support among various community groups.

Our Community Investment Program provides grants to local non-profit organizations twice per year. An employee committee reviews all applications and then makes recommendations to our Board of Directors who approves grant recipients. Grants ranging generally from $3,000 to $25,000 are awarded, up to a total of $150,000 in each round.

Eligibility

Organizations located within our service areas in Humboldt, Del Norte, and Trinity counties, andNonprofit organizations with tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)3 of the IRS, andPublic benefit organizations (public schools, government agencies, Indian Tribal Governments), andCommunity groups that have a fiscal sponsor that meets 1 or 2 above.

Ineligibility

Organizations that are political, highly controversial or religious in nature.Projects for salaries, deferred maintenance, or annual operating costs.
