Background This mechanism replaces the Third Year and beyond Clinical Fellowships. It is intended for fellows of any stage who are prepared to submit a well-formed, hypothesis-driven, CF-relevant research project. The Foundation invites applications for Clinical Fellowships – Research Awards from physicians who are engaged in fellowship training in a subspecialty related to CF care and seek support for fellowship training and a well-defined, CF-relevant research project. Applications can be submitted for either two years of funding or a single year, as appropriate. The maximum award amount is $105,000 in direct costs per year for up to two years. Indirect costs are not allowed.
