Clean Vessel Act Grants (CVA) This program was created by the United States Clean Vessel Act of 1992 to evaluate the existing conditions of sanitary disposal for boaters and to provide financial assistance for the improvement of marina sanitation facilities where they are needed. Program purpose To encourage the development or improvement of marina sanitation facilities for boaters in order to maintain and improve water quality in public waters. Business registration All CVA Grant Application grant applicants (both private businesses and government entities) must be a legal owner of the property and also be registered with the Minnesota Secretary of State. If you are NOT registered, please visit this website to register prior to submitting your application for this grant. NOTE: Applications will not be accepted if this requirement is not met. Level of assistance Up to 75% of total eligible costs. NOTE: The sub-recipient must pay for project expenses in-full and meet all terms of the grant agreement and sub-recipient contract prior to seeking reimbursement.Eligibility
