Overview

Classroom Grants

Purpose: PCEF funds innovative experiences initiated and led by teachers and staff throughout Plymouth-Canton Community Schools.

Eligibility: Teachers and staff in Plymouth-Canton Community Schools

Focus Areas: Innovative classroom projects that:

  • Offer unique approaches to learning or teaching

  • Have clear goals, objectives, outcomes and benefits to student learning

  • Address curriculum standards and enhance PCCS curriculum goals

  • Have measurable impact on the classroom, teachers, and students

  • Can be replicated in other classrooms or schools

    • Geographic Scope: Plymouth-Canton Community Schools, Michigan

    Evaluation Criteria:

  • Is the project innovative; does it offer a unique approach to learning or teaching?

  • Are the goals, objectives, outcomes and benefits to student learning clearly identified?

  • Does the project address curriculum standards and enhance PCCS curriculum goals?

  • What impact will the project have on the classroom, the teachers and, most importantly, the students?

  • Can successful projects be replicated in other classrooms or schools?

  • Applications Open: September 25 (annually)

  • Submissions Deadline: October 20 (annually)

  • Awards Announced: Week of November 13 (annually)

  • Expenditure Deadline: May 1 (following year)

  • Final Reports Due: May 15 (following year)
