Program Description

The Child Care Solutions Fund supports organizations working to expand child care capacity and address child care barriers for women and families in Iowa. Linking Families & Communities was the first recipient of this fund, using grant support for pre-design work on expansion of existing centers and development of new child care centers.

• Used funding for architectural pre-design work
• Supported expansion of Community Early Childhood Center
• Facilitated planning for a new child care center
• Expected to add 205 child care spaces
