Chatham Fund Grant

The Chatham Fund, part of The Cape Cod Foundation, provides grants to 501(c)(3) organizations that positively impact Chatham residents. With grants typically ranging from $2,500 to $5,000, the Fund focuses on proven programs, pilot projects, and organizational development. Priorities include addressing hunger, children's needs, and environmental concerns. Organizations must wait a year to reapply after receiving a grant, ensuring a fair process for all applicants.

The Chatham Fund is a town fund of The Cape Cod Foundation committed to supporting high quality organizations making a positive impact to residents of the town of Chatham.
Grants from The Chatham Fund will support or strengthen:
Existing programs with a proven track record of success, including enhancements to the programPilot projects and idea testingProgram planning and developmentOrganizational development and capacity buildingEvents and one-time programs with specific community outcomes (e.g. educational/outreach program, symposia, and conferences)Equipment and technology essential to implementing a programCommunication and outreach projects (e.g. public awareness or volunteer recruitment campaigns)

Eligibility

The Chatham Fund supports organizations that have a 501(c)(3) charitable status.Organizations can be located outside of the Town of Chatham, but projects and programs must specifically support Chatham residents.You can apply to more than one grant program at the same time.If you received an award from one of our programs you must wait one year to reapply to that program.You may reapply if you did not receive an award.

Ineligibility

The Chatham Fund will generally not consider proposals for the following:Debt reductionProjects that will be completed prior to the grant awardCapital campaigns or improvementsEndowment buildingMonuments and memorials
