Charity of the Month Program

Overview: Bella's Voice partners with animal nonprofits in the Pacific Northwest each month to support their mission through in-store fundraising events and grants.

    Program Details

    Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be: A registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a valid IRS EIN
  • Mission: Must align with animal welfare
  • Location: Must be based in Washington State
  • Participation: Must grant Bella's Voice permission to share organization name, mission, logo, and promotional materials in-store and online
  • Commitment: Must agree to participate in a designated table event (one day per month, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM unless otherwise arranged)
  • Agreement: Must follow terms, conditions, and expectations outlined in Bella's Voice Media Partnership Release Agreement

    Eligible Uses of Grant Funds

  • Spay and neuter procedures for pets or feral animals
  • Veterinary procedures and medical care
  • Animal care supplies (food, treats, blankets, cat litter, puppy pads, toys, leashes, collars, kennels)
  • Facility repairs and upgrades
  • Transportation costs
  • Operational costs
  • Hiring and onboarding new team members

    Reporting Requirements

  • Provide brief update outlining how grant funds were used or will be used
  • Share impact statistics, before/after photos, stories, or testimonies
  • Illustrate the impact the grant made to the organization's mission

    Table Event Requirements

  • Setup: Arrive early to set up before 10:00 AM
  • Staffing: Must maintain at least one representative at all times; 2-3 representatives recommended
  • Hours: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (unless other arrangements made)
  • Provided: One 1.5" table and two folding chairs (organizations may bring their own)
  • Parking: Use south side of lot along fence if possible
  • Check-in: Upon arrival, check in with store supervisors or administrative team
  • Allowed Activities: Display informational materials, decorations, live animals (with guidelines), and merchandise sales
  • Merchant Services: Organizations must bring their own mobile card reader and/or cash box for sales

    Live Animal Guidelines

  • Animals welcomed and encouraged
  • All animals must be under control at all times (leashes, pens, or appropriate enclosures)
  • Animals must be social and not easily stressed by unfamiliar animals
  • Prepare for accidents with waste bags and cleaning supplies
  • Bring water, toys, blankets, treats, and comfort items
  • Health check: Do not bring sick or unwell animals
