Community Foundation of South Lake County The Community Foundation of South Lake County is dedicated to serving our community through connecting resources and intentional philanthropic giving. We operate under the principle of endowment or perpetuity, meaning that gifts made to the Foundation will grow and continue to impact your community now and forever. Thanks to the generosity of our donors, the Community Foundation of South Lake has grown to manage nearly $16 million in assets and has cumulatively awarded more than $9 million to local nonprofits and $740,000 in scholarships to students from South Lake County. Women’s Giving Alliance of South Lake The collaborative efforts of the Women’s Giving Alliance have not only made a significant impact for women and children within our community but have also set a remarkable standard for philanthropy. It is with great enthusiasm that the WGA announces our annual grant cycle, seeking partnership with local non-profits. The mission of the Women’s Giving Alliance is to inspire women to be strategic philanthropists and to improve the lives of women and children in South Lake County. Programs should: Facilitate systemic change to improve how women and children are served in our community;Implement creative solutions to critical needsA measurable impact in South Lake County

CFSLC Does Not Fund the Following:Endowments Private Foundations (File 990-PF) Fundraising expenses, sponsorships, or thrift stores Infrastructure improvements (including but not limited to land/building that is not owned by the applicant) Activities that relate to lobbying or advocacy or litigation related expenses Individuals Foreign based organizations Political or trade associations Support for religious organizations for religious purposes Medical or scientific research Organizations that discriminate or exclude participants the basis of race, color, creed, sex, sexual orientation, age, national origin, disability or marital status
