NOTE: Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until grant funds are expended. Community Human-Powered and Public Transportation Grant Grants are available for initiatives that increase the uptake of human-powered and public transportation in Muscatine to improve public health and reduce air pollution. Human-powered transportation is defined as the transport of person(s) and/or goods using human muscle power. Nonprofit organizations, schools, or units of government located in Muscatine are able to apply for funding for projects that invest in bicycle-friendly infrastructure, address safety issues, address infrastructure to make streets more pedestrian-friendly, or otherwise increase the uptake of human-powered or public transportation in Muscatine. Funding A total of $10,000 is available to grant. The program or project must be completed within 10 months of awarding.
